One of my cruise strategies is to get as much exercise as possible when I’m not sitting in the sun, eating, drinking or doing anything else. OK, so that’s not a perfect strategy, but there’s a reason they call these thing “vacations”, you know? Anyway, just about every morning, I did manage to get out on deck doing laps, and watching the sunrise. Most mornings I was also kicking myself because I didn’t have a camera handy, and knowing full well that if I went back for one, by the time I returned the colours would be gone, So I contented myself with enjoying the view. However, on the last day at sea, I did carry my camera, and these photos are the result. (Except for the one which is actually a sunset; mostly, I missed sunsets because they coincided with dinner, and we all know how important dinner is!)

I find it fascinating how a slight change in viewpoint, different framing, or waiting for a few seconds can result in a completely different picture. So you can pick your favourite – it was hard enough getting the choice down to these!
