Mary-Jo is still doing genealogical magic and came across a descendant of one of Dad’s older brothers. He had a photo that he copied for Mary-Jo, which I cleaned up a bit in Photoshop. Meet my uncle James and his bride Elsie on their wedding day in 1919. He was 24 at the time. Here’s the original scan, and a cleaned-up version. Plus a picture of my Dad, for comparison. Mary-Jo says this is the first picture of someone in my family that looks like me. I suppose I really should scan some of the photos of me while I can still find them!
