Adam, Victoria, Travis and Shadow came to celebrate Mary-Jo’s birthday and helped with the tree and Xmas cookies.
Mary-Jo supervised the cookie process, Adam watched the Tiger Cats win their game and took the one and only photo of me. Everyone put ornaments on the tree, Victoria, Anna and Travis decorated the shortbread, and I tried to work out why my flash was flashing an extra three times before each photo and did most of the washing up.
Mary-Jo opened her presents, and organized brunch. We got take-out for her birthday dinner (ribs) from Baton Rouge. Why do they call the delivery “Skip the dishes” when it takes just as long to sort the take-out containers and clean out the plastic dishes, I wonder?
Shadow tried hard not to annoy Clare, but for a while Clare wasn’t at all happy with the extra attention. By the end of the day the two were settled down under the table, waiting for anything to drop, just like best buddies!
In short, as you can see, everyone had a good time. A whole pile of cookies disappeared. I’m still investigating.
