Considering I thought I was going to be photographing flowers, I came across a fairly wide assortment of animals on this trip. The only subject I was expecting was the butterfly assortment as there is a “farm” near the dock at St. Thomas. The turtle and parakeet were captive, but the lizard or iguana or whatever it is was a bonus. We were sitting in the open taxi/truck waiting for the driver to finish her phone call and someone said look at the lizard in the bush. Best part of Coral World! Similarly, we were walking through Welshman’s Gully in Barbados when we came across this troop of monkeys, which were quite content to be photographed from a distance.
